MATING & FAMILY

Marriage on Tarizon is called mating. All mating is done by Central Authority. At age fourteen all men and women go through extensive testing and the results are imputed into a mating data bank. The data is then analyzed and categorized so that people can be matched for both physical, genetic, and emotional compatibility. It has worked very well and you will be expected to be integrated into the process. On Earth we know the concept of love is important, but love on Tarizon  between mates is discouraged as it is illogical, unhealthy, and often causes conflict and even criminal acts. Love between parent and child is acceptable and encouraged within reasonable bounds. Due to the declining population on Tarizon mates are encouraged to have as many children as possible. If there are infertility issues free clinics are available to provide assistance.
